In order to keep himself at top notch to aid Batman in confronting the criminal element in Gotham City, Tim also underwent cage fighting in his spare time. After some time of intense training in the martial arts and stealth, Tim proved himself more than worthy of the role as Robin. About six months after Jason Todd's "death" and exile from his family, Tim Drake revealed to Batman he had deduced his secret identity as Bruce Wayne and instead of wanting to reveal his secret, he wished to fight alongside him. Inspired by Batman's heroics, Tim closely followed the chronicles of Batman and Robin. Tim Drake was in the audience the night that the Flying Graysons were murdered, where he witnessed Batman leap to the scene.
